About Us
Motto: Working together with Him. 2 Corinthians 6:1 CSB
Vision: Working together to develop and strengthen pastoral leaders around the world.
Purpose: Working together with pastoral leaders by providing credentials, training, networking opportunities and fellowship.
Mission: Working together to provide every member with the foundational resources to fulfill God’s purpose in their ministry and to impart the responsibility of mentoring the next generation of pastoral leaders.
What guides us?
Identity: We are a ministry network that esteems: the autonomous local church, the Scriptures as authoritative, the gifts of the Spirit, the Great Commission, holiness and a disciplined life, care for “the least of these, my brothers and sisters” and inclusiveness in Christ without regard to national origin or eschatological/political persuasion.
Empowered
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you…” Acts 1:8 (NIV).
We acknowledge our absolute dependence upon the Holy Spirit and His gifts to accomplish the mission that we have been given.
Encouraged
But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today…” Hebrews 3:13 (NIV).
At the core of our fellowship is the desire to intentionally create an environment of encouragement.
Equipped
Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up… Ephesians 4:11–12 (NIV).
It is our responsibility to train and prepare God’s people so that they can fulfill their part in works of service.
Engaged
“Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life…” Matthew 28:19 (The Message).
Our purpose culminates in penetrating all aspects of society to fulfill the Great Commission.
We believe in the plenary-verbal inspiration of the accepted canon of the Scriptures as originally given. (2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Corinthians 2:13)
We believe in the Eternal Triune God. (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His personal return in power and glory. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 4:25)
We believe that for the salvation of the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.(Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12; Romans 5:11)
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a separate and distinct experience subsequent to salvation, providing for life and service. (Acts 2:1-4; 8:14-17; 10:44-46; Galatians 3:14-15).
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved into the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:24; 3:16, Mark 9:43-48; 2 Thessalonians 1:9; Revelation 20:10-15)
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (John 17:21, Philippians 2:1–5)
We believe in the creation, test and fall of man as recorded in Genesis; his total spiritual depravity and inability to attain divine righteousness apart from God. (Romans 5:12, 18)
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, very God and very man. (Luke 1:26-35; John 1:18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6)
We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day and personally appeared to His disciples.(1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 4:25)
We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:36-39; 19:1-6)
We believe in the Table of the Lord, commonly called communion or the Lord's Supper, for believers. (1 Corinthians 11:23-32)
We believe in the reality and personality of Satan and the eternal judgement of Satan and his angels. (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10-15)
We believe that unlike other living creatures, man was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26 --28 ) in that man is a spirit, has a soul and lives in a body. (Matthew 10:28; 16:20; 1 Corinthians 6:9; 1 Thessalonians 5:23)
We believe that woman was created from Adam's rib (Genesis 2:20 --24) to be a helpmate and companion; that a man and woman become one flesh through marriage (as illustrated throughout the Old Testament) in order to procreate and fulfill man's assignment to multiply and refurbish the earth (Genesis 1:27 --28, Matthew 19:4-6).
The basic principles of this fellowship probably are best expressed in the functioning of its autonomous churches. It is accepted among us that biblical teaching concerning the character and functions of churches is fundamental to their spiritual well-being, as is scriptural teaching concerning the doctrines of salvation. In matters such as the new birth, the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the entire fellowship of Pentecostal people believe that the New Testament is our pattern guide, Familiarizing ourselves with every passage in the New Testament that describes the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, we seek to pattern our experiences and practices accordingly. This scriptural reference has been our stronghold as Pentecostal people in the storms that have swept around us. The power and authority of Pentecostal preaching always has been in its appeal to the Scriptures.
Because the Church is God's instrument for evangelizing the world, it follows that we should find a scriptural pattern for the founding of and functioning of local churches. This is of prime importance in sending out the Commission.
In our day it is generally recognized that one of the weaknesses of modern missions has been the failure to follow the New testament pattern in the establishing of healthy, autonomous local churches. this weakness in the foreign field probably reflects a parallel condition in the homeland. The indigenous principle must be practiced here in order to establish it over there.
We hold that scriptural church government is essential to maintaining the strength of any revival movement. The histories of some of the largest Protestant organizations testify to this fact: That a movement of spiritual power is weakened and distorted as unscriptural church organization and government increases. What appears, at its inception, in God's work, eventually proves to be a deterrent to spiritual power.
A factor in the development of unscriptural church organization is the tendency to regard such matters as merely non-scriptural, and a matter of expediency. This theory holds that there is no clear pattern in the Bible regarding the subject, leaving man free to choose forms as he deems best. We believe that God, who has given us a divine pattern for our experience of salvation, has also given us a scriptural pattern in the work of the church. But we must seek for it where it can be found in the New Testament, on the local church level.
Because the Scriptures hold no pattern for denominational organization, the forming of local churches into an organic union with centralized government and authority, some assume that no definite pattern for church organization exist in the Bible. Others indeed presume further that all church organization is unscriptural and to be avoided. Both assumptions are in-correct.
It is impossible to view New Testament Christianity as something that could function normally without proper organization. And, certainly the Bible speaks of church organization. It speaks of a very distinct pattern, but in one area only - the local church. Believers gathered together for Christian fellowship and service always in local churches and homes. It was to local churches and homes. It was to local assemblies that New Testament believers were added. In local churches only was discipline exercised. The selection and appointment of officers was always and only to serve in local churches. Workers for the gospel fields were prayerfully ordained and dispatched by the Holy Ghost in local assemblies. These churches were nurtured in the truth that they were directly related to and under the headship authority of Christ, their Lord.
In the year 1935 this fellowship dissolved its corporation and united with our independent fellowship to form an unincorporated pattern of inter-church fellowship and cooperative effort. The fellowship has maintained this basic form of mutual work until the present. Its procedures, more or less informally evolved through the years, have enabled these local churches to carry on their work at home and abroad with the blessing of the spiritual encouragement and practical help of like-minded assemblies.
An earmark of the fellowship has been its devotion to presenting the Pentecostal message. Aware of the fact that injury to the Full Gospel cause has often been caused by lack of balance in both message and methods, the fellowship seeks to maintain the Pentecostal message and experience.
